Oh how the evil one tries to tear us as far away from the Lord as possible making it seem incomprehensible to find our way back to His grace and forgiveness. Lent and Holy week are such a blessing when we are able to meditate upon our own sufferings as offerings made in union with those of Jesus Christ as he gave of himself passionately on the cross of redemption, for our salvation. I am so grateful to be Catholic and have the sacrament of Reconciliation available to me.
The lingering shadows of evils committed in my past sometimes come to haunt me and I strive to see through that darkness and go to the light, of grace. May your shadows and demons of the past leave each of you forever in the name of the Father, and of the Son Jesus Christ, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
