Day 15 Community

Good Morning World! As I woke this morning to a cold snowy day in Oklahoma, I am so very grateful for the safety and warmth of my home. I thought about the Ukrainian people outside in even colder conditions without the basics of warmth, supplies, electricity, or even a roof over their heads as they flee from their homes as Joseph and Mary did on their way to Bethlehem. So many Ukrainians are struggling to find passage to safety amidst the war around them. I can only imagine their fear, anger, and sorrow as that evil draws closer and more devastating by the day. Then I saw news of the Polish community welcoming Ukrainian refugees. THIS!…This loving hospitality is what Christ’s community is all about. We can each be a sturdy bridge to others.

I ponder what I can do to help, and knowing that my resources are limited, I know also, my prayers aren’t. So I pray strength, patience, and providence come to all of the refugees, and everyone who needs it, without challenges along the way. I pray for conversion of the hearts of those perpetrating evil, and the Love, Healing, Grace, Peace, Forgiveness, Mercy, and Comfort of Jesus to touch every heart in the ways it needs most. I pray for God’s will to be carried out with wisdom by the leaders of the world. I pray for an end to abortion, euthanasia, and the death penalty, and for the souls of all affected. I pray for the souls in purgatory, and for a happy death for those whose time is nearing. I’m praying for you, please pray for me. Love~ Mary
