The Feast day of St. Joseph is this month and today begins a novena to him. Joseph holds a special place in my heart, as the guardian and partner of our Blessed Mother, Mary, my namesake. He is a bridge between myself and Jesus. Valiant, and faithful he is an aid to the family and to those called to the vocation of marriage. He is the Terror of demons and protector of the home. Quiet in the scriptures, he is a resounding voice honored in heaven. Calling out to him as to a friend for intercession, leading to his pleas to his stepson on our behalf, are very effective. What child, good and honorable would not honor the requests of their parents if in accordance with the good will of God. As he is a bridge to Jesus, Jesus is our bridge to our Heavenly Father and the Holy Spirit…the road to heaven. Please know that you are each included in my intentions during this novena and always. Please also pray for me. We are beloved and Created for Christ! Truly, YOU are loved. ~ Mary
