I believe some of the most important focus words for this year in my life, are prayer, providence, blessing, and gratitude. I won’t get into details but in summary: When everyday challenges face us, the best reaction I have found, is prayer and hard work as able. The prayers vary from day to day as do the accompanying emotions. Strength and ability to do what is needed is often a very undeserved gift. God always answers…His voice and methods of reply vary, as do the prayers, but providence and blessing always follows. Those who are responsible for delivering His answers may or may not be aware of their level of involvement, but deep down know they’ve helped.
I am ever so grateful for the multitude of those people in my life, and ask you to join me in prayer for those who are without such helpers. Some folks are there for you no matter what through thick and thin, and some show up unexpectedly as an angel sent by God. Every small and large help; from a smile, ride, compassion, meal, prayer, $, or helping hand is appreciated far more than words can express. Any of these may be the difference between despair, and hope for someone who needs it. Be a blessing to others if and when you can, and please, be truly grateful when blessed!
Yes… The words for my year are prayer, providence, blessing, and gratitude! I thank Jesus for His healing, mercy, grace, and love… and for each of you. You are in my prayers, please keep me in yours. You are loved. ~Mary
