Today’s Responsorial fits with my striving: Your words, Lord, are Spirit and life. The verse which struck me deepest…Psalm 19:15 “Let the words of my mouth and the thought of my heart find favor before you, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer.”
How providential and merciful of the Lord to give us a clear teaching…but do we put it into practice and reap the benefits of what He has sown? Speaking for myself, it is too infrequent. When I do follow and trust, with heart and soul, the lessons in His Word, it is rare that I not receive quickly a benefit of that lesson. One of the hardest lessons for me is to trust that He will provide for my every need. Repeatedly He does so, so why is it I tend to be fearful if I don’t have what is needed ahead of time? Life is teaching me through this challenge and it is slowly becoming easier.
Today I am praying for God’s providence once again, yes, for myself, but also for the world. May God provide whatever it is each individual needs to live a life pleasing to The Lord. I hope in this providence there is much joy, peace, and healing. I pray for wisdom for world leaders, for an end to hatred, killing, poverty, and disease. I pray that each and every heart find the grace of fulfillment and love. 🙏🏻💖🕊🥰 I’m praying for all of you. Please pray for me! ~Love~ Mary
