Every day, challenging or not, I see God’s graces at work. Little glimpses of heaven show themselves in both common and unexpected ways. A common way, is the smile of a child, kindness of a stranger, completion of a task, or simply getting up in the morning and facing the day. Today I was blessed, simply to hear the voice of someone I love dearly for the first time in years. They answered my call, though only to say they couldn’t talk. The blessing- I heard their voice, and that gave me a deep joy and renewed hope. I seem to be making progress in accepting what I cannot change and focusing on that which I can…mainly me. I hope someday that relationship heals, and until then, I pray for that healing to come and that only good come to my cherished dear one. I hope God continues to help me see these beautiful moments clearly, and that I always appreciate them for the blessings they are in my life.
Today is also the final day in the Novena I’ve been praying for peace in Ukraine. See day 2 blog for the novena prayers. The intention for today is for those who have died or been injured in the conflicts. May God’s healing pour out on the injured and his mercy and grace bring the deceased to Him in everlasting life.
As always you are all in my prayers and I hope I am in yours. May blessings be many, and sorrows be few. May God’s angels be with you in all that you do!
You are loved! ~ Mary
