I can’t believe it’s already been a week since initiating this website. I feel God working in and around me. So many people are praying for and with me, and I feel the results. It never ceases to amaze me how God shows up at just the right time through the people and events in my life.
Today, as I continue the Novena for peace in the Ukraine, (prayers in Day 2 blog post) I focus the intentions on the protection of the innocent…I include also those innocent lost to the evil in war and in the world. I pray for the devastation of war to cease throughout the world and for comfort and healing to come swiftly to all those affected by the loss of innocent life around them. I pray for mothers, pregnant in our world today, who are not thinking of motherhood. May the Lord touch their hearts and bring a lasting nurturing nature to help them cherish the life within them… life created by God. I pray for those in the prolife movement to be able to reach those women with the countless ways of support thru their pregnancy and well into the older years of their children’s lives (contact me to find out more). I pray for the conversion of all abortion minded people, especially those working in the abortion industry. I pray for the over 64,000,000 aborted babies in the USA and close to 2 billion worldwide. I pray for society to come to realize the true value of life. I pray for those who have been involved in the death of the innocent by any means, to acknowledge the error of their ways and turn to the Lord who is so very merciful and forgiving. Change is possible at any age and forgiveness is promised to all who are sincere in asking for it!
Today I need to step away from updating the details on the webpage because, as you all know, bills don’t pay themselves 🥺and there are so many bills! I do ask for prayers, as my stamina is not what it used to be and it will be a physically taxing day. I am very hopeful, however, because my drs put me on a new medication this week which is known to help. I’m praying it will help quicker than they estimate. I am so grateful for every opportunity for honorable income.
This reminds me of another lesson I find repeated too often in my life…I’ve always tried to work hard and provide for myself and anyone around me who needed help. For years I was successful at this and have been called a workaholic many times. That was not always the case and in my life many times I’ve struggled financially and been dependent upon others to assist me financially. Asking for that help is never easy…oh Pride, how ugly you can be! Thankfully I am learning to trust in the Lord for providence and sometimes it comes through asking.
