Welcome. I missed posting on day 5 as a result of distraction. Much of the day was spent reorganizing, following up in necessary communications, and doing mundane tasks at home after the convention last weekend. I am happy to be back to say good morning and pray with you all. Today is Ash Wednesday and the Pope has asked that we pray and fast today as an offering to our Lord, for peace in Ukraine. I invite you to join in this prayer and also for all the the hearts worldwide to be filled with God love to the point of overflowing. May nonbelievers and those who have fallen away from the church find their way back and be welcomed with open arms and true compassion. I pray for an end to abortion, death penalty, and euthanasia, and conversion of the hearts of those who have participated. May God’s merciful grace cover and comfort them. I ask for protection, peace and providence for the poor, the homeless, veterans, and military. I pray for jobs with fulfillment for all who seek them. I pray for God’s wisdom to guide world leaders, clergy, and people everywhere according to His will. I pray for strength, perseverance, hope, compassion, healing and fortitude, for healthcare workers, for everyone who is affected by Covid, cancer, diabetes, mental illness, and all other diseases. I pray for those who are lonely and have no one else to pray for them, and for all of the souls in purgatory.
Lord, may your limitless love and mercy reign in the hearts of all mankind. I ask in Jesus name!
